Two Southwest Virginia Communities To Participate In Statewide Tourism Program
Eight Virginia communities including several in southwest Virginia are participating in the Drive 2.0 Statewide Tourism Plan implementation, that focuses on developing or enhancing tourism promotion, product development, and advocacy strategies. Bristol, and Scott County will join six other communities across the Commonwealth in an effort to gather tools needed to succeed in a highly competitive tourism market. At the end of the program implementation, participating communities will receive a ten thousand dollar grant to assist with furthering or developing the 2 point zero program plans.
