Virginia Expanding Vaccination Schedules…Five Pharmacy Partners Working To Expand Vaccination Efforts
As Virginia becomes the sixteenth state to achieve President Biden’s 70 percent mark for adults who have had their vaccinations, the Virginia Department of Health is hoping to add on to that number by making adjustments to its vaccine schedules. VDH says that five pharmacy partners will expand their hours on certain days through July 4th to provide COVID-19 vaccinations as part of the National Vaccine Month of Action. Anyone age 12 or older can find a clinic near them by visiting VaccinateVirginia.Gov. Over 147 pharmacy locations across the Commonwealth are participating, including Albertson’s, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens and Independent pharmacies.
