BREAKING: Train versus car crash has roads closed in Greeneville

An emergency official has confirmed a crash involving an automobile and a Norfolk Southern train in the downtown Greeneville area.

Portions of Main Street and Route 70 Bypass (Asheville Highway) will likely be closed for several hours due to investigation and clean-up efforts.

Motorists are urged to stay away from the area and choose alternate routes.
