Driver stopped on Interstate 26 arrested after transporting $194,000 in drugs

A Wise County, Virginia woman is facing charges after Sullivan County deputies discovered various drugs inside her vehicle.

Bridgette Joan Bledsoe, 25, of Appalachia, fled from police while driving on Interstate 26 but then pulled over. The search of Bledsoe’s vehicle reaped an assortment of drugs including heroin, meth, molly, and marijuana that has a reported street value of $194,000.

Bledsoe was issued a $100,000 bond and also has outstanding warrants for crimes in Sullivan County and Scott County, Virginia.
