Virginia Senator Warner Says Congress Nearing Bipartisan Approval of 579 Billion Dollar Infrastructure Plan
Ninth District United States Senator Mark Warner says a huge bipatrisan infrastructure plan describing just how long it has been since both aisles of Congress got together for a significant piece of legislation. Warner held a remote media session with reporters on Tuesday and says a group of ten senators which includes eleven Republican Senators and ten democrats are pushing forward with the infrastructure bill. If approved, the bill would provide federal funding that’s now available to help offset the ravages of the economic effect of COVID-19.
