Unicoi County Public Library hosts animal adoption event

The Unicoi County Public Library is hosting an adoption event called “Story’s Friends” on Saturday to help find homes for animals at the local shelter. This event is free to the public, and the Erwin shelter is providing furry friends to meet, play with, and hopefully take home.

The shelter is accepting much-needed donations such as food, litter, and blankets. There will also be animal-themed books to check out and crafts to-go for your pets.

This adoption event happens Saturday, June 26th from 1-4 PM at the Unicoi Library.
