“Welcome Home Veterans Parade” back in Erwin

The “Welcome Home Veterans Parade” is back in the Town of Erwin. The salute to Veterans that began in 2012 is back and bigger than ever. World War II Veteran Wayne Clark is this year’s Grand Marshall.

This Saturday’s festivities start at 9 AM with a free “Breakfast for the Brave” at Erwin Town Hall; and after the parade, a free hotdog lunch will be provided to Veterans at Unicoi County Veterans Memorial Park.

All Veterans are invited to be honored in the parade. The parade sets off July 3rd at 10 AM in downtown Erwin.
