Tennessee announces suspension of highway lane closures over holiday weekend
The state of Tennessee announced they will suspend highway lane closures over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. According to the Associated Press, the suspension of lane closures will begin Friday morning and end on the morning of July 6th.
TN Transportation Commissioner Clay Bright says it is estimated that almost a million motorists will travel the state’s interstates and highways this weekend, so this suspension will help travelers reach their destinations safely and without delay.
