Warner To Visit Southwest Virginia With Two Stops On Friday
Virginia’s Ninth District United States Senator Mark Warner is in southwest Virginia on Friday, hosting a day of events with business and community leaders in region. Warner begins his visit in Pennington Gap, Virginia where he will attend a ribbon cutting celebrating the new Lee County Community Hospital. Warner will end the day in Bristol Virginia where he will host a conversation with community and business leaders on ways Southwest Virginia could benefit from passage of the U.S. Innovation and Competition Act. If approved the bill would secure 250 billion dollars to fund research and manufacturing to compete with China and create good paying jobs here in the U.S.
