Greeneville Man Cries Wolf One Time Too Many

He cried wolf one time too many times. That’s what happened to a Greeneville man, who called police and informed them he there were people outside his door trying to attack him. Officers arrived at the East Andrew Johnson Highway Days Inn and spoke with Jason Brinkley, who alleged people were outside his hotel room trying to fight him. Greeneville Police had been called multiple times for the same accusation but with no evidence. Brinkley was warned of the consequences of filing a false report. Brinkley did not heed police advice and once again officers determined the accusations were false. Brinkley, was placed under arrest. Police say the arrest was made due to law enforcement responding with emergency traffic multiple times, 911 distractions and prior warnings.
