Barrette Outdoor in Bulls Gap announces $33 million upgrade, 162 new jobs

One of the largest employers in Hawkins County is growing and investing millions in its Bulls Gap plant.

Officials with Barrette Outdoor Living are going to expand its 20-year-old facility by 40,000 square feet in a $33 million project and hire 162 new workers, according to plans unveiled by the company that was announced by Governor Lee and the Department of Economic and Community Development.

The company specializes in fencing, railing, deck materials, and decorative panels.
