Scott County man in jail after firing shotgun three times into moving vehicle; no injuries reported
A Scott County man is in jail after firing a shotgun into an occupied, moving vehicle. According to the Scott County Sheriffs Office, Larry Eugene Beck admitted to firing the shotgun three times into the vehicle on the roadway. Upon arrival, police say 29-year-old Beck was unarmed and confessed to firing the gun. The vehicle was occupied by one person who reported no injuries.
Beck is charged with attempted second degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, vandalism over one thousand dollars, and maliciously shooting at an occupied motor vehicle. He is being held at the Duffield Regional Jail with no bond.
