Taxpayers In Unicoi Will Pay Same Property Tax Rate As Last Year

Unicoi County Commissioners approved a budget Monday night that keeps the property tax at the same level as last year. The rate, set at two point eight five percent, will generate funds for the school system, road department, and the general fund., as well as several other departments in the County. Tax payers in Unicoi County will pay the same amount as last year at two dollars and eighty five cents on every hundred dollars of assessed property.
