McAuliffe outpaces Youngkin in campaign fundraising

Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe holds a commanding lead in campaign fundraising for the November election.

From May 28 to June 30, McAuliffe complied $7.5 million according to the Board of Elections while Republican Glenn Youngkin raised $3.5 million.

The two will face off in a debate in Southwest Virginia later this year. The Appalachian School of Law in Grundy has scheduled the event for Sept. 16.
