Johnson City Man Dies In Single Vehicle Motorcycle Crash

A Johnson City motorcyclists is dead after losing control of his motorcycle while attempting to negotiate a curve early Sunday morning. Joshua. A Karup was killed when he was traveling on North Roan Street near Carmol Drive. Karup was driving a 2004 Honda CBR motorcycle south at a high rate of speed on North Roan Street near Carmol Drive, when he failed to make the curve and went off the right side of the roadway, striking a guardrail. Karup, was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the accident which is being investigated by the Johnson City Police department’s Traffic Crash Reconstruction Team.
