Long-time kennel resident Titan finally finds a home
The dog that has been at the Washington County Animal Shelter the longest finally found his forever home. Titan, the pit bull mix, was adopted by a loving family after almost two and a half years in the shelter. Titan was at the Johnson City Animal Shelter for a total of 904 days before he was adopted. He came in at only a year old. Employees of the shelter say Titan would often get very excited when people walked past him, which deterred many folks who assumed he was very hyper. Titan’s new family says they’ve already bought him two wading pools to splash in. Shelter employees say the dog had the biggest smile they’ve seen when he left the building.
