Tennessee Revenues Exceeding Expectations And Estimates
Like It’s neighbor Virginia, Tennessee is reporting revenues that are exceeding projections despite the economic effects of COVID-19. Officials with the Volunteer State say revenues for June were one point nine billion dollars, which is more than 372 million more than budgeted estimates and more than 300 million more than in June of 2020. The revenues reflect taxable sales activity from the month of May. Year to date, Tennessee revenues are almost three billion dollars more than projections.
