Hawkins County Authorities Searching For Two Young Vandals

A Hawkins County Church is reporting more than one thousand dollars in damages to two church vans that were apparently vandalized by two, very young boys. Members of Persia Baptist Church discovered vandals had placed gravel, and dirt into the fuel tanks of one of the vans and antifreeze had been placed into the tank of the other church van, traces of candy were also found inside the tanks. A review of the churches Ring Doorbell camera showed two small boys had pushed the doorbell button and ran. Both boys appear to be eight to ten years of age. One with blonde hair, the other with brown hair and slightly larger. The investigation is being conducted by the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Department.
