Public Soon To Be Allowed To View Recently Moved Bust Of Former KKK Leader
Now that the controversial bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest is removed from the Tennessee State Capitol, the Tennessee State Museum will soon allow the public to view the bust. The Forrest bust was taken down Friday and moved to the museum where, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee says the public will be able to view the bust beginning Tuesday. Forrest, a Confederate General was leader of the KKK as it terrorized black people, reversing Reconstruction efforts and restoring white power in the south following the war. It’s unknown what exact details will be listed about Forrest.
