New Cases Of COVID Nearly Double In Northeast Tennessee

The Tennessee Department of Health is reporting 121 new cases of COVID-19 in Northeast Tennessee, with one new death being reported in Greene County. Less than 40 percent of the total population in Northeast Tennessee are fully vaccinated, and in the last seven days the region has seen a total of 623 new cases. The seven days prior to that a total of 335 new cases were reported. Washington County reports 32 new cases, Greene County reports 26 and 25 new cases in Sullivan County.
