Community Shred Day coming to Erwin; sensitive documents shredded for free
If your household has sensitive documents that need to be shredded and disposed of safely, now is your chance. Erwin’s Bank of Tennessee is hosting a community shred day, where people can bring any documents that need to be safely thrown away. This event is open to the public and contact-free due to COVID-19. Participants are asked to put any documents they want shredded in a container in their backseat or trunk. Volunteers will then take your items and safely dispose of them. Items accepted include any sensitive paper documents, checks, and expired IDs or credit cards.
This community shred event takes place at the Erwin Bank of Tennessee this Saturday, August 7th, from 9 AM to noon.
