Isaiah 1:17 House breaks ground on new homes across country
The Isaiah 1:17 House announced multiple groundbreakings on new homes across the country. These houses are dedicated to helping children who have been removed from their homes by child services. This organization gives children awaiting placement in foster care a comforting home to stay in, rather than a department waiting room. The house says most children that are removed from their homes go through a waiting period that can last hours to days before they are placed in foster care. The Isaiah 1:17 house ensures local children have a nice home with toys, clean clothes, and loving volunteers to help them while they wait. Children come to the house scared, confused, and often times dirty and hungry. The organization strives to help comfort children who are in this waiting period. Towns across the country announced that they have broken ground on new Isaiah 1:17 homes. Locations include two homes in Texas, one in Georgia, and numerous across Tennessee. All of these homes stem from the original Isaiah 1:17 House in Carter County.
