Now that we have data to back up predictions of disrupted learning all across the Volunteer State due to the COVID-19Pandemic, some interesting facts are emerging from the TCAP results for the Spring 2021 scores. The number of students who scored mastered and on track with learning decreased, there was an increase in the number of students scoring below average and most negative impacts of learning were found among economically disadvantaged students, urban -suburban students, English learners and students of color.
