Northeast Tennessee Sees Highest Single Day Increase Of COVID Cases Since January
The Tennessee Department of Health is reporting 225 new COVID-19 cases in Northeast Tennessee as of Tuesday. That’s the highest single day case uptick since January 28 when 304 new cases were reported. Sullivan County, the regions largest county reports the most new cases among the counties in Northeast Tennessee with 72 new cases on Tuesday. Washington County is next with 44 new cases being reported. Over the last seven days, Northeast Tennessee has added 934 new cases. During the seven days prior to that, the region reported 511 new cases.
