Ballad Health Care Reports Positivity Rate Now At More Than 15 Percent

When the COVID pandemic was at its peak, Ballad Health officials set five percent as it’s benchmark for the regions positivity rate. With vaccines now fully available, that figured in just a matter of weeks has skyrocketed to more than 15 percent. Ballad Health released its COVID19 scorecard for data related to the healthcare providers 21 county service area. The total number of deaths reported at Ballad facilities has now reached 12 , with 116 patients in the hospital. Ballad also reports Thursday, 34 patients in intensive care units and 17 of those are using a ventilator to assist with breathing. There are also three pediatric patients now being treated in a Ballad facility.
