NWA, Smoky Mountain Wrestling legend Bobby Eaton dead at 62
Bobby Eaton, one half of the historic tag team The Midnight Express that was a staple of professional wrestling in the South and the Tri-Cities, died late Wednesday.
Tributes around the business have poured in and stamped the Alabama native as one of the best tag team wrestlers in the history of the industry. His career spanned more than 40 years with his most memorable runs coming in Jim Crockett Promotions and the NWA.
Eaton called Kingsport home for several years during his career and continued to work shows on the independent scene up until his death.
Beautiful Bobby Lee Eaton was 62.
