NET First Responders Meet To Discuss Mutual Aid Services
Northeast Tennessee emergency agencies frequently come together to share equipment and personnel during search and rescue operations, large scale industrial fires or weather related events such as tornadoes and flooding. On Friday, members of Emergency Services and First Responders from the first district met to evaluate what equipment and skill sets exist for mutual aid across northeast Tennessee should such an emergency occur. The focus was evaluating newer equipment and training across the district in an effort to identify possible mutual aid agreements.
