ETSU announces new vaccination incentive for students and faculty
East Tennessee State University announced a new COVID-19 vaccination incentive called the “ETSU Vaccine Challenge”. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate by getting vaccinated and signing up to win prizes via an online entry form. ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland says the school is hoping for a successful return to fully on-ground classes this fall semester, and that community members getting vaccinated before they return to campus will help this effort. ETSU students will be entered to win a variety of prizes that range from a designated parking spot to $1,000 or $2,000 in tuition scholarships. Participants must fill out the entry form online at etsu.edu/vaccinechallenge. Participation is completely voluntary. The school is hosting multiple free vaccination clinics this month in various places around campus. More information and a clinic schedule can be found at etsuhealth.org.
