Hawkins Authorities Confiscate More Than 100 Grams Of Meth
Hawkins County Sheriffs officers have a Mississippi man and a Hawkins resident in custody after receiving information a man would be delivering an undetermined amount of Methamphetamine to a Rodney Johnson of Hawkins County. Officers pulled over Walter Jones following a traffic violation. Officers say Jones who was found with a small amount Methamphetamine. Officers then traveled to a residence on Highway 11W in Hawkins County where they encountered Rodney Johnson of Hawkins County. Johnson told officers that Jones had just delivered 140 grams of meth for two thousand dollars. Narcotics officers searched the residence and discovered the meth in a refrigerator. Both subjects were arrested on the scene and are being housed in the Hawkins County Detention Center.
