Johnson City Police Arrest Unruly Restaurant Customer

A Hickory North Carolina man is being bars in Johnson City after threatening employees at a Johnson City restaurant. Police were called to Applebee’s on North Roan concerning a male subject making threatening comments and gestures at employees. Officers located Joseph F. Anderson of Lenoir Rhyne Blvd in Hickory North Carolina and determined Anderson had indeed threatened several employees with a knife he had in his possession. Anderson is charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Anderson is being held without bond and is scheduled for arraignment on Monday.
