August 18 officially “Charlie Daniels Day” in TN

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee declared that August 18th is officially “Charlie Daniels Day” in the state. This announcement comes as country music lovers and artists prepare for the 2021 Volunteer Jam in Nashville. This star-studded event at Bridgestone Arena honors the late Charlie Daniels, as he played a significant role in the founding of the concert. This musical salute to Daniels will feature artists such as Alabama, Randy Travis, and Chris Young. The Volunteer Jam is set to kick off on this new “Charlie Daniels Day”, Wednesday night.
