ETSU graduate nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year Award
East Tennessee State University alum Atlantis Warren was named a Southern Conference nominee for the 2021 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Warren is a women’s track and field graduate, and was the president of ETSU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee this past year. She is one of 57 nominees from a Division 1 program, and only one of two from the SoCon. The nominees are made up of student-athletes from 18 different sports across all three NCAA divisions. Warren says she is very thankful to be considered for such a prestigious award, and gives many thanks to her support system and mentors from ETSU. The “Top 30” honorees will be announced in September. The selection committee will then narrow winners down from there, to eventually land at a 2021 NCAA Woman of the Year.
