Alderman In Jonesborough, Table Outdoor Seating Request…Special Called Meeting Now Set

Members of the Jonesborough Board of Mayor and Alderman on Wednesday night tabled a resolution calling for an outdoor seating permit for a downtown distillery. Stephen Callahan, co-owner of Tennessee Hills Distillery, who is also a Jonesborough alderman says his establishment is being treated unfairly, and says there are other establishments in downtown Jonesborough that are allowed outdoor seating. Two alderman are opposing the resolution that will now be discussed again at a seven pm special called meeting at Jonesborough town hall.
