Tennessee Governor Lee Tells Parents Who Want Mask Mandate To Send Their Children To School With Mask

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee took a less combative approach to the controversy surrounding his decision to not require a mask mandate in Tennessee schools. In a press conference in Nashville on Thursday, the Republican Governor had some words of encouragement for parents who want their child to wear a mask at school. However, Lee also backed up his stance of allowing opt out clauses for parents who don’t want their child wearing a mask, saying it was their legal right according to Tennessee Law.
