BMS Site For Annual 911 Stair Climb Honoring Fallen Firefighters
This Saturday, marks the 20th anniversary of the tragic events of 911. And Bristol Motor Speedway will be the site of the 7th annual Memorial Stair Climb honoring First Responders who perished in the terrorist attack. Participants will climb a section of grandstands for a total of 110 stories, representing the number of floors in the Twin Towers. The climb will generate funds to benefit the Fire Department of New York City’s Counseling Services Unit as well as programs provided to support the nation’s fallen firefighters. Check in for the event is set for seven AM at the North Entrance. Opening ceremonies begin at nine AM.
