Police: Driver busts through barricades at Eastman Chemical Company
An Appomattox County, Virginia man is jailed after he led police on a chase through the Eastman Chemical Company grounds in Kingsport.
Justin Lee Carroll, 37, of Pamplin, has been arraigned on 13 charges following the incident that took place Monday morning and began when Carroll crashed his car through a security gate.
Carroll parked his car then tried to light it on fire. He then stole an Eastman factory truck that he crashed and was forcibly removed from by police.
The charges Carroll is facing include felony reckless endangerment, aggravated assault on an officer, arson, criminal trespassing, and drug possession.
