UPDATE: VSP identify motorcycle rider killed on Interstate 81

The Virginia State Police has released the name of the motorcycle rider killed during the Labor Day holiday on Interstate 81.

Yacek Castillo, 46, of Yonkers, New York, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred in the vicinity of Exit 72 in Wytheville near the 81-77 split just after 9 a.m. Monday.

Castillo was traveling northbound when his bike went off the left side and struck a guardrail, ejecting the victim from the cycle.
