Band set to play Bristol Rhythm and Roots drops due to trouble meeting COVID-19 requirements
Another band set to perform at Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion has dropped from the lineup. The band, If Birds Could Fly, announced they were not going to be able to make the concert due to having trouble meeting the artist requirements regarding COVID-19. The band took to their social media page to make this announcement and explain why they had to drop from the lineup. They say in the post “It would have been impossible to provide a negative test for five people within 72 hours of the festival.” The band goes on to say not all members are fully vaccinated, which is why they are required to provide negative COVID tests. They say there has been difficulty locating and scheduling rapid tests, which is what prevents them from playing the festival. Bristol Rhythm and Roots is set to take place this weekend.
