Free RAM health clinic coming to Gray; healthcare volunteers needed
A RAM health clinic returns to Gray, Tennessee this November, and organizers are actively looking for volunteers to help the clinic serve as many people as possible. RAM– or Remote Area Medical– is a nonprofit provider of pop-up medical clinics that deliver free dental, vision, and medical care to uninsured individuals. All RAM services are free and no ID is required. Organizers are in need of licensed dental and vision professionals to volunteer their time. This includes but is not limited to dental hygienists, oral surgeons, and optometrists. General volunteers for parking crew and set up are also needed. Anyone wishing to volunteer at this three-day clinic should email RAM’s volunteer manager at marybrown@ramusa.org. This free RAM clinic happens at the Appalachian Fairgrounds from November 5th through the 7th.
