J.C. Commissioners Break Ground On New 14 Point Two Million Dollar Wastewater Treatment Plant

Work is beginning on a new, more than 14 million dollar wastewater treatment plant in Johnson City. Ground was recently broken on the 24 acre location on Eddie Williams Road, that’s expected to provide needed space for current and future staff. The current location at Riverview Drive, will now become available for future expansion of the Brush Creek Treatment Plant. Completion date is set for late 2022 and early 2023.
