Want To Be Burglars, Foiled In Burglary Attempt In Johnson City

Two men have been charged with attempted robbery after their attempt to disable power to a Johnson City business they were preparing to burglarize. When police arrived at 528 West Market, they reviewed security video that showed and identified Matthew Caponero of Bristol and Daniel White of Johnson City dragging the power box to the establishment in hopes of disabling the alarm system. That attempt failed and the two fled on foot before being apprehended. Caponero and White have an arraignment schedule for Tuesday on Attempted Burglary charges.
