City of Kingsport announces asphalt maintenance in Rock Springs neighborhood

Kingsport officials announced an upcoming asphalt maintenance project in the Rocks Springs area. The city says this project will take place in neighborhood streets connecting to Rock Springs Road; between Rock Springs Valley Drive and Double Springs Road. Work is set to begin on September 22nd and is estimated to be completed on the 29th. The project’s contractor says they will have door knockers informing residents the day before their selected street is to be paved. The city says motorists should use caution in this area and seek alternate routes if possible.
