Johnson City Animal Shelter to open new spay/neuter clinic in 2022
The Johnson City Animal Shelter announced that they will open a new spay neuter clinic on site in 2022. Shelter officials say this new clinic was made possible by a generous donation from Judy and Doug Lowrie. The shelter says this new clinic will provide high quality, affordable spay and neuter surgery to the general public—with a special focus on shelter animals. Adopted animals at the shelter are not allowed to leave without being spayed or neutered. This has caused time delays due to having to send animals to a local veterinarian to perform these operations. With a clinic on-site, the process of adopting animals at the shelter will be much more efficient. This new clinic is expected to open in 2022.
