Missing Johnson City man found in Jefferson City

UPDATE, 12:30 p.m.

The TBI has announced that Charles Edwards, 79, has been located safe in Jefferson City.

The agency posted a Silver Alert for the Johnson City resident after he was reported missing on Monday.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations has issued a Silver Alert for a 79 year old missing Johnson City man. Six foot tall, white haired, Charles Edwards went missing on Monday. Edwards weighs two hundred pounds and may be driving a Black Honda CRV with a license plate of 347 NTC. If you have information on Mr. Edwards please call the JCPD.
