Bridge on Kingsport Greenbelt closed for repairs

A bridge on the Kingsport Greenbelt is now temporarily closed while repairs are being made. City officials say crews will be repairing one of the bridge’s abutments in order to fix the undermining found during an inspection. No reopening date has yet been announced and the city is currently working with contractors to determine a timeline for this project.
