Ballad Health data: 340 COVID patients and nearly all are unvaccinated
Healthcare provider Ballad Health reports 56 new admissions to their facilities in Tennessee and Virginia for the COVID variant and a patient roll count of 340.
Statistics provided Tuesday show 97 patients are being treated in intensive care units with 69 patients placed on ventilators.
The majority of Ballad’s patients continue to be unvaccinated adults and the positivity rate continues to hover above 20 percent.
As of Tuesday, Sept. 28, we are treating 340 inpatients with COVID-19. This data pertains to Ballad Health’s 21-county service area of Tennessee and Virginia.
