Bristol’s East Cedar Back Open, Signage Change In Effect
A portion of almost a nine million dollar project in Bristol, Tennessee designed to significantly improve safety and enhance access to the northeast area of the city returns to its pre construction status. A section of East Cedar Street is reopening beginning Tuesday and motorists traveling east along King College Road will now be required to stop when they reach the East Cedar intersection. A shift in signage is being put into place as barricades are removed and traffic is allowed to flow through the area to Valley Drive. Construction is expected to continue through Fall of 2022.
