Greeneville High School Lockdown Lifted, Student Being Questioned

A student at Greeneville High School is being questioned concerning the student’s intent of bringing a weapon to the school Tuesday morning. The lockdown went into effect around seven thirty Tuesday morning as some students were arriving at school. A tip led police to the identity of the student. No weapon was found. The investigation into Tuesday mornings lockdown continues by the Greeneville Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
