Bandit, Armed With Knife Robs Saltville Gas Station…Still At Large

Smyth County Virginia authorities continue searching for a lone bandit, who robbed a Saltville gas station over the weekend at knife point. The man described as roughly five feet nine inches tall, weighing about 240 pounds walked into the Cargo Gas Station, showing a knife and demanded money from the clerk. Following a brief struggle, the man left on foot in the direction of Northwood High School. Police are asking anyone with information on this case to contact the Saltville Police Department.
