Ballad Reports, Staggering Number Of COVID Patient’s Have Not Been Vaccinated
With 293 patients in its hospitals, across the 21 county region, Ballad Health says 91 percent of those patients have not been vaccinated. Of the 87 patients in the health care providers ICU, 96 percent of have not received their shot. That’s according to a Ballad Facebook post, which also revealed hospitals across the country, especially in, low vaccinated populations are being financially stretched and have spent an estimated 24 billion dollars to cover excess labor costs for overtime, and costly use of contracted nurses over the course of the pandemic. 42 point six percent of the regions population has been vaccinated below state averages in both Tennessee and Virginia.
